SAFE Server
To enhance the network design and offer the best support of your System, the head end is built around a customized Dell rack mount SAFE Server. In addition to running video management software and networked to an NAS (Network Attached Storage) for video storage, this design allows for remote internet connectivity for potential service and system diagnostics by our support team. Remote access software runs on the server providing a secure means for support without interfering with your network.

Access Control
The S2 Security System provides a total solution for facilities' access control by controlling individual privileges, enrollment of guests with short-term access requirements and includes date and time stamping. Secure Internet browser access provides the means to remotely open entries or change or delete individual access privileges. A key feature is the HTML map of the airport identifying each entry point and camera location on one screen with the ability to click an icon and view the device. The interfacing of S2 with the ONSSI System delivers features such as real time alerts coupled with video capture.
Time and Attendance reporting is an optional feature available for Human Resources. The HID iClass readers used in the System will be FIPS 201 compliant insuring acceptance of future TSA requirements.

Video and Digital Recording
The System includes the latest IP video technology and is web-enabled via the Dell Server and network design with the impressive OnSSI Digital Video Management System. Using a software-based design allows for unlimited cameras, including the new Megapixel models, video storage of 30 days via a NAS, and reduces the obsolescence issue with current DVRs. Remote access and control for authorized parties is provided via client software. High resolution color digital and the new Megapixel cameras record activity across the airfield and include the ability to send motion alerts with a video clip to approved parties notifying them of unauthorized activities or events. You may also record, archive or view cameras from your laptop or PDA from a high speed wireless or cellular connection.

GATEWay™
A multi-function gate entry system designed by Navigance provides reliable and scalable access to both wired and remote entrance and exit gates. The GATEWay System is customized to each location and includes a heavy duty pedestal w/bollards, S2 Security access control, HID card reader, intercom, internal color camera, wireless radio, panel lighting and UPS battery backup.

Wireless Network
Our proven and secure wireless mesh network, WiFliŽ, utilizes a highly reliable broadband system using the Cisco/Terrawave solution. Remote video and access control of the airport system also creates a WLAN and can offer tenants high speed internet and shared video viewing as part of the solution.
Through our alliances, we can arrange T1 connections, which allow
high-speed Internet access, at very reasonable rates.

NATA SkyGuard Program
As an additional feature, Navigance has incorporated NATA's SkyGuard ID badging program as an option with the SAFE System.
This concept brings together the proven web-based SkyGuard program of ID badging and SAFE access control functionality in one solution. The means of vetting employees and/or tenants with a variety of available background checks, along with the S@ and HID contactless smart card solution, is an exclusive offering pioneered by Navigance.
